How does billing work?

For Starter and Pro plans, the base price of the plan will be charged by credit card at the start of the billing period. Overage charges (if applicable) will be charged at the start of the next billing period along with the base price for the next billing period.

Example:

• Customer begins Algolia Starter plan on January 15th
• Customer is billed $29 on January 15th for the base price of the Starter plan for the service period January 15th to February 14th
• On February 15th, customer is billed $29 for the base price of the Starter plan for the service period February 15th to March 14th + any applicable overages from the January 15th to February 14th service period

Enterprise customers pay annually upfront by credit card, check, or bank transfer.
